At the Autumn 08 show member Derek Hillier presented a magnificent pumpkin and visitors were asked to guess the weight.

The results were:

The weights given ranged from 20lbs to 380 lbs but the actual weight was – 69.7Kg (153lb 3oz) the winning weight, guessed by Harrison Facey, was 70kg - almost exactly the actual weight - and Harrison is 11 years old !!

He 'outguessed' the adults by a large margin. His prize was a box of chocolates, rather than the bottle of wine that had been put ready for an adult winner.
